Mendez et al v. San Diego Medical Transport, et al, 37-2009-00081919-CU-PA-CTL, plaintiffs' personal-injury case. Young woman injured in a collision with a commercial medical transport vehicle. Recovered $1,030,000.00 settlement for the client.

United States v. ____________, Navy Court-martial. Client charged with felony assault of Navy servicewomen, sexual assault, and leave without absence. All charges dismissed after contested Article 32 preliminary hearing.

People v. ____________, Case No. SCD221241, client charged with double rape of drunk/unconscious women on two separate dates. All charges dismissed two weeks before trial on strength of defense investigation and preliminary hearing.

Acquitted at jury trial on the counts involving a mandatory-minimum sentence and a mistrial declared as to all other counts. United States v. ____________, Case No. 04cr0289-JTM, client charged with marijuana smuggling conspiracy involving over 100 kilograms. Mistrial following jury deadlock at trial.

United States v. ____________, Case No. 08cr0894, client charged with smuggling an alien under the backseat of the vehicle he was driving. Mistrial declared during jury trial. Client received time-served plea to lesser-included-offense after post-trial motions.

United States v. ____________, Case No. 02cr2839-BTM, client charged with transportation of aliens and accused of fleeing from federal agents. Mistrial after jury deadlocked. Case resolved for plea to lesser charges.

United States v. ____________, Case No. 01cr3270-MLR, client charged with importation of over 40 kilograms of marijuana. Passenger pled guilty and testified against client at trial. Acquittal after jury trial.

United States v. ____________, Case No. 01cr2522-MJL, client charged with importation and possession with intent to distribute over 80 kilograms of marijuana concealed in the roof of the vehicle client was driving. Mistrial following jury deadlocked. Retrial of case resulted in a second mistrial following another deadlocked jury. Client received a dismissal of all charges following the second trial.
